Genevieve "Jean" (Wasko) Gregos

     Genevieve “Jean” Gregos, 95, of Mifflintown, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020, at her home.

     Born Aug. 11, 1924 in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Karol and Regina (Kubik) Wasko, who emigrated from Poland. Her husband, Joseph Gregos Jr., died Nov. 9, 1993.

     She is survived by one son, Reynold “Ray” Gregos and wife, Linda, of Mifflintown, and one grandson, Jeffrey Gregos and wife, Karisa, of Newville.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four sisters and five brothers.

     She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewistown.

     When she was able, she enjoyed gardening and fishing trips to Canada. Her greatest joy was taking care of her home and her family.

     Her graveside service and interment at Old Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal, will be private with Rev. Father William Weary officiating.
