Gary A. Whitesel, Sr.

     Gary A. Whitesel, Sr., 67, of Mifflin passed away Friday, May 5, 2023, at his home.

     Born September 3, 1955 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Blair and Tressie (Schlegel) Whitesel.

     He is survived by four children, Gary Whitesel, Jr. and wife, Jennifer, of Mifflin, Wesley Whitesel of Lewistown, Kyla Whitesel and significant other, Clayton Brown, of Port Royal, and Jessica Dupert and husband, Joseph, of Thompsontown, four grandchildren, Kalynn Brown, Piper Brown, Ethan Whitesel, and Waylon Rowles, one sister, Gale Swartz and husband, Mark, of Tuscarora, one niece, Tammy Swartz, and his dog, Elroy.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by twin sisters who died at birth.

     Gary retired from Feeser's Foods

     He enjoyed hunting, reading, tinkering with his tractor, and riding his four wheeler.

     There will be a gathering for family and friends from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, May 10, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. There will be no service at this time and interment will be at the convenience of the family.
