Franklin F. “Frank” Fike, 72, of Mifflin, passed away Thursday, April 16, 2026, at his home.
Born April 22, 1953 in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Margaret C. “Peg” (Frontz) Fike.
He is survived by his sister, Brenda Blakey and husband, Michael, one nephew, Matthew Corkins and wife, Kelly, two great-nephews, Kegan Corkins and Rhys Corkins, and Crystal Adams and husband, Kevin, whom he considered to be family.
He graduated from Juniata High School in 1971.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from March 8, 1973 to May 20, 1975.
He was a steelworker and truckdriver.
He was a member of VFW Post 5863 and American Legion Post 290, Mifflintown, and enjoyed watching NASCAR and local racing.
There will be a graveside service at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 23 at New Church Hill Cemetery, Port Royal with military honors provided by the Juniata County Veterans Council. If you wish to be seated for the service, please bring a chair.
There will be no viewing.
