Elizabeth “Tootie” Fogleman, 92, of McAlisterville, passed away Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at her home.
Born Dec. 19, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Stephen H. and Edna Mae (Persing) Notestine. Her husband, Donald L. Fogleman, Sr., passed away on May 19, 1988.
She is survived by two children, Donald L. “Bud” Fogleman, II and wife, Natalie, of Mifflintown and Amy J. Hermann of McAlisterville, six grandchildren, Donald “Donnie” Fogleman III, Colton Fogleman, Luke Fogleman, Ross Fogleman, Elizabeth Gingrich and husband, Hunter, and Steffanie Eichelberger, two step-grandchildren, Woodie Hermann and Maddie Brown, and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Todd Hermann.
She graduated from Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown.
In addition to being a homemaker, Tootie was a dental assistant for Dr. Sam Zeiders and worked as a secretary and greeter for Brown Funeral Home.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, McAlisterville.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her great-grandchildren.
Her graveside service will be private and held at the convenience of the family with interment in Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.
The family will provide all flowers and requests that those who desire make a contribution in Tootie’s name to ROFF, PO Box 16, Reedsville, PA 17084.
