Edgar L. Parks, 84, of Mifflintown, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023, at Greenwood Village, Lewistown.
Born Feb. 20, 1939 in Newton Hamilton, he was a son of the late Glen W. and Paulene E. “Dolly” (Van Ormer) Parks.
He is survived by one brother, Fred Parks and wife, Donna, and two sisters, Linda Woods and husband, Don, and Grace Darling.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Gladys Parks, Eileen Bardell, and Eurifay Shawver.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1964.
He retired from Lake’s in Lewistown where he was a Chevrolet mechanic and earned the nickname “Mr. Goodwrench.”
He was a member of the Juniata Co. Sportsmen’s Association and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt.
His service will be private.
