The service information for Donna J. Stoner, 69, of Mifflintown who went to be with her Lord on Monday, March 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family has been updated below.
Born Aug. 14, 1955, in Thompsontown, she is the daughter of Donald and Arletta (Howell) Kauffman of Thompsontown.
Also surviving are her husband, Gerald “Jerry” S. Stoner, whom she married September 15, 1973, three daughters, Stephanie J. Gulick and husband, Howard, of Mifflin, Melissa Stoner of Mexico, and Kimberly Stoner, of Mifflintown, three grandchildren, Myles Gulick, Haley Anderson, and Austin Anderson, one sister, Lisa Buskey and husband, Chris, of Thompsontown, and her mother-in-law, Ona Stoner of Mifflintown.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jason Stoner, her sister Barb Zeigler and her husband, Woody Zeigler, and her father-in-law, Sieber Stoner.
She graduated from East Juniata High School and worked as a seamstress at East Salem shirt factory, decorated cakes at the Newport Weis Store, worked at the Mifflintown Sheetz and retired from Cabinetworks. She was also known throughout the area for baking and decorating cakes for all occasions.
She enjoyed planting flowers, going to the beach and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
There will be a visitation for family and friends beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Thompsontown Global Methodist Church, 556 W. Main St., Thompsontown followed by a Celebration of Life at 11 a.m. at the church with Pastor Don Walters officiating.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to help with the final expenses may be sent to Gerald Stoner, 840 Texas Hollow Road, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
