Dennis K. “Denny” Yetter, 66, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Sept. 12, 2021, in Glen Burnie, Md.
Born May 7, 1955, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Walter “Pete” and Carol (Kepler) Yetter.
He is survived by one son, Nick Yetter and wife, Kelly, of Mifflin, two grandchildren, Jordan Elizabeth Yetter and Ian Keith Yetter, three siblings, Sheree “Susie” Wirt and husband, Donald, of Thompsontown, Terry Yetter of Glen Burnie, Md., and Julie Eargle and husband, Robert, of Mifflintown.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Timothy Yetter and Terry’s wife, Lorraine “Lorri” Yetter.
He graduated from Juniata High School in 1973.
Denny retired from Roadway Express and from the Pennsylvania Turnpike.
He enjoyed restoring old cars, riding his motorcycle, camping, watching his grandson play baseball and his granddaughter show her animals in 4H. He loved his family very much.
His service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 20, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Ken Kitzmiller officiating. Interment will be in Locust Run Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
Anyone who attends any of the services is reminded to follow the current Covid protocol.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the charity of the donor’s choice.
