Deloris J. (Walters) Dunn, 82, of Mifflintown went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023, at Geisinger-Lewistown Hospital.
She was born Feb. 5, 1940 in Mifflintown.
She is survived by her husband, Richard W. “Dick” Dunn whom she married May 24, 1985, two daughters, Pam (Casner) Raudabaugh and husband, Neal, of Boiling Springs, and Patsy (Casner) Brackbill and husband, Douglas, of Mifflintown, five grandchildren, Quentin Burchfield and wife, Stacey, of State College, Troy Burchfield of Hershey, Kevlin Kauffman of Ambler, Adam Brackbill and wife, Stephanie, of Mifflintown, and Kahley (Brackbill) Houser and husband, Zachary of Spruce Hill, seven great-grandchildren, Mason and Kowen Burchfield, Zachary Jr., Thomas and Jessie Houser and Autumn and Wesley Brackbill.
She was preceded in death by her father, Marlin W. “Squink” Walters, her mother, Miriam J. “Peewee” (Shellenberger) Walters Master, and her step-father, Percy A. Master, two brothers, Richard Walters and David Walters, and one sister, Wanda Goshorn.
She was a seamstress at Lyon Fashions and retired from Tyco Electronics and Amp Inc. in Carlisle.
She enjoyed gardening, planting flowers around the house, canning, cooking, and spending time with her family.
A time for remembrance will be held at the convenience of the family. Her private interment will be in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Licking Creek Valley.
