Deborah J. Foltz, 78, of Mifflintown passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born June 30, 1946 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Betty J. (Rhodes) McCahan.
She is survived by two sons, Keith Foltz and wife, Tracie, of Duncannon and Shawn Foltz and wife, Kimberly, of Forest Hill, MD, three grandchildren, Zander Foltz, Megan Foltz, and Taylor Foltz, and four siblings, Linda Whistler and husband, Larry, Bonnie Sheets, Ralph McCahan, and Marlin McCahan and wife, Bonnie.
She worked in the Corporate Tax office for the Pennsylvania Department of Revenue.
She enjoyed doing macrame, gardening, reading, baking, listening to country music, crossword puzzles, and riding and caring for her horses. She dearly loved her family and treasured the time she spent with them.
There will be a graveside service at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Licking Creek Valley, with Pastor Jerry Conley officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery. If you wish to be seated for the service, please bring a chair.
