Darlene K. (Neidig) Swartz

   Darlene K. (Neidig) Swartz, 61, of Altoona, formerly of Juniata County, died Friday, Dec. 20, 2019, at The Grove at Latrobe.

     Born April 14, 1958, in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Thomas O. and Margaret R. (Stewart) Neidig, Sr.

     She is survived by one son, Daniel Swartz of Altoona and one brother, John M. Neidig, Sr. of Mifflintown.

     She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Swartz, on April 9, 1982, and two brothers, Thomas O. Neidig, Jr. and Mike Leahy.

     Darlene graduated from Juniata High School and worked as a personal care aide at Locust Grove Retirement Village.

     She enjoyed assembling model cars and playing computer and video games.

     Her memorial service will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
