Daisy B. (Powley) Seiler

     Daisy B. Seiler, 86, of Mifflintown, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her home.

     Born Feb. 23, 1938 in Milford Township, Juniata County, she was a daughter of the late John E. and Florence A. (Dolin) Powley.

    She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Paul E. Seiler whom she married Feb. 22, 1963, three siblings, Barbara Shallenberger and husband, Jim, Evelyn Benner and husband, William, and Denny Powley and wife, Becky, and many nieces and nephews.

     At one time, she was a seamstress in local sewing factories.

     She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and watching hummingbirds and she and her husband enjoyed camping, traveling, and going to flea markets together.

     There will be a viewing beginning at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10 followed by her funeral service at 11 a.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, with Pastor Dennis Seiler officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen’s Lutheran Cemetery, Licking Creek Valley.
