Cecile Geraldine McCulloch

     Cecile Geraldine McCulloch, 94, formerly of Millerstown, Newport and Enola, died Sunday, June 1, 2025, at Perry Village, New Bloomfield.

     Born May 14, 1931, in Honey Grove, she was a daughter of the late James L. and Frances L. (Junkins) McCulloch.

     She is survived by nieces and nephews, Earl C. Myers, Jr., Cristy E. Myers, Brenda K. Symmerman Rager, James R. Symmerman, Jr., Julie Symmerman, James B. Kennedy, J. Douglas Kennedy, F. Sue Kennedy Brewer, Pam Kennedy Cokins, and Penny D. Kennedy Royer.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Helen E. (McCulloch) Myers, E. Romaine (McCulloch) Kennedy, and Janet C. (McCulloch) Symmerman and one niece and three nephews, Steven M. Myers, Nathan M. Myers, Debra E. Symmerman Bender, and William Herbert Kennedy.

     She owned and operated Cecile’s Beauty Shop in Millerstown and Newport.

     She was baptized at Free Spring Church of the Brethren and enjoyed reading.

     Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Pastor Mindy Petrovcic officiating. Interment will be private in Newport Cemetery.
