Brandy Gail Phillippe, 44, of Lewistown was born on Oct. 23, 1981 and entered into rest on May 7, 2026.
Brandy graduated from Juniata High School in 1999. A woman of many talents, she had a background in Culinary Arts and attended flight attendant school. She was a proud Army veteran who specialized in Patriot missiles during her service. Later in life, she achieved her CDL and worked as a professional truck driver.
Brandy was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Phillippe, and her grandparents, Samuel Banks and Barbara (Jones) Leach.
She is survived by her mother, Kathy (Leach) Hays Murphy of Mifflintown, her father, Ronald Hays of Arizona, her brother, Matthew Lane of Lewistown, her step-sister, Tonya Earhart of Mifflin, and Aunt Sharon and Uncle John Lane of Lewistown, who helped raise her. She had a passion for cats and loved many over the years.
Her funeral will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Sylvia Morris and Pete Weaver officiating. Interment will be in Academia Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Juniata Co. Veterans Council. There will be no viewing.

Following the services, family and friends are invited to gather for a meal hosted at American Legion Post 298, Mifflintown, to honor Brandy’s life.
