Betty J. (Mellinger) Beasom Kuhn

     Betty J. Kuhn, 65, of Mifflintown, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, at Brookline Manor.

     Born Feb. 20, 1958 in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Ruth (Holsinger) Mellinger.

     She is survived by her second husband, Mark Kuhn, two sons, Michael Beasom and girlfriend, Peggy Hockenberry, and Roger Beasom and girlfriend, Brandi Ranck, three siblings, Rose Holsinger, Margaret Shughart, and Terry Bowser, and 12 grandchildren.

     She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Michael Beasom, and one sister, Nancy Mellinger.

     Betty worked as a seamstress at the McAlisterville Dress Factory, as a head start supervisor at Teddy Bear Daycare, and at Tom’s.

     She enjoyed puzzle books and being with her family, especially her grandchildren.

     Her memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 20 at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown with Russell Bowersox officiating. There will be no viewing and interment will be at the convenience of the family.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059 to help her family with the final expenses.
