Banks A. Zimmerman, Jr., 70, of Mifflin, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2026, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born Nov. 21, 1955, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Banks A. and Shirley (Fasick) Zimmerman, Sr.
He is survived by one son, Matthew R. Zimmerman and girlfriend, Courtney Ulsh, one daughter, Victoria A. Walton and husband, Cody, one granddaughter, Myah Zimmerman, and three siblings, Robert L. “Bo” Zimmerman and wife, Heather, Lou Ann Henry and husband, Bill, and Margaret I. Janowicz.
He graduated from Juniata High School in 1973.
He was a road construction laborer and worked for Red Rock Construction and Hempt Brothers.
He was a member of Mexico Full Gospel Mission and the Juniata Co. Sportsmen’s Club.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, shooting black powder, traditional archery and muzzleloader.
Following his wishes, there will be no service.

The cremation arrangements are in the care of Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown.
