Andrew "Andy" T. Hosler

     Andrew T. “Andy” Hosler, 63, of McAlisterville, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022, at William Penn Nursing and Rehabilitation, Lewistown.

     Born Jan. 7, 1959, in Lewistown he was a son of the late Kenneth H. Hosler and E. Mildred (Clay) Hosler.

     He is survived by three children, Kenneth Hosler and wife, Melinda, Jessica Carter and husband, Jeremy, and Shannon Hosler, four grandchildren, Cody Carter, Hallee Carter, Taylor Hosler, and Lillian Allen, one brother, Charlie Hosler, and one sister, Emma Hosler.

     In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his fiancé, Paula Yorks, two sisters, Linda Rhine and Mildred “Millie” Potts, and three brothers, Clair “Clem” Hosler, Kenneth Hosler Jr., and Gary Hosler.

     Andy trimmed trees with Asplundh and most recently was a maintenance man at Kish Apartments.

     He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going for drives in the mountains, and hanging out with his cat, Baby Girl.

     Although there will be no viewing, the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. A service and his interment will be at the convenience of the family.
