Wanda M. (Fogleman) Berlin, 91, went to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday, Feb. 13, 2021, at her home in Rockville.
Born May 8, 1929 in Center, she was a daughter of the late John and Martha (Snouffer) Fogleman. Her husband, Virdene D. “Bud” Berlin, Jr., whom she married August 6, 1955, passed away on March 5, 1997.
She is survived by one son, Ron Berlin and wife, Wendy, of Port Royal, her twin brother, Wayne Fogleman and wife, Beverly, of Reedsville, one sister, Isabel Quigley of Mifflintown, two grandsons, Josh Berlin and wife, Alesha, of Morgantown, West Virginia and Cody Berlin of Port Royal, as well as two great-granddogs, Allie and Benny.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Daniel H. Berlin, a sister, Esther Leidy, a brother, Harry Fogleman, an infant brother, Charles, and an infant sister, Jessie.
Wanda was a member of the Juniata Joint High School Class of 1948.
She retired after many years as a bank teller at Juniata Valley Bank.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, being the neighborhood watch, and reading. Through the years, she enjoyed her travels to South Korea, West Virginia, Colorado, Tennessee, and Louisiana. In her younger days, she enjoyed square dancing, roller skating, bowling, and doing the jitterbug,
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Wanda’s neighbors who have supported her in many ways over the years.
There will be a graveside service at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 15, at Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, with Rev. Gary Krabill officiating. Please bring a chair if you wish to be seated for the service.
In lieu of flowers, those who desire are asked to make a contribution in memory of Wanda and members of her family to Huntington’s Disease Society of America, 505 Eighth Ave, Suite 902, New York, NY 10018.
