     Wayne B. Hooper, 68, of Mifflintown, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019, at his home.

     He was born Sept. 27, 1950 in Huntingdon.

     He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Christina "Tina" (Musser) Hooper, whom he married Feb. 14, 1971, one daughter, Stacey Henry and husband, Marlin, of McClure, one sister, Linda Garlock of Mapleton Depot, twin brothers, Robert Hooper and wife, Patty, of St. Thomas and William Hooper of Orbisonia, his special friend who helped raise him, Eva Garber of Huntingdon, and four grandchildren, Cortland, Kendyll, and Mya Henry and Ellie Hooper.

     He was preceded in death by his son, Jason Hooper, his father, John Hooper, his mother, Garnet "Polly" (Weller) Hooper Bard, his step-father, Amos Bard, and one sister, Bertha Cross.

     Wayne worked as a construction superintendent.

     He enjoyed woodworking, fixing cars, hunting and especially being with his grandkids.

     His memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
