     Miriam S. Blymier, 57, of Port Royal, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at her home.

     Born Aug. 21, 1961, in Mifflintown, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur D. and Lucy (Byler) Graybill.

     She is survived by four children, Cheryl Blymier of Mifflintown, John Blymier and his wife, Camilla Fox, of Harrisburg, Wade Blymier of Port Royal, and Diana Blymier and her partner, Shawn Butler, of West Reading; three grandchildren, Dominic Moreno, Cecilia Moreno, and Maxwell Butler, ten siblings, Barbara Rohrer and husband, John, Wilbur Graybill Jr. and wife, Gladys, Wilmer Graybill and wife, Erma, Joyce St. John, Janet Schrock and husband, James, Pauline Graybill, Melva Baumer, Elva Yoder and husband, Calvin, Wayne Graybill, and Julia Zimmerman and husband, Andrew, and one brother-in-law, Raymond Hoover.

     She was preceded in death by one sister, Wilma Hoover.

     She worked for Zimmerman Accounting as the payroll secretary.

     Miriam was a devoted Christian and a selfless mother who showed love to all that knew her. She enjoyed quilting, canning and gardening, especially working with flowers. She was an avid reader, often reading the end of the book first. She loved telling and writing stories about her life and she was known for her hugs. She cherished her family and the time she spent with them.

     Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 5, at Lost Creek Mennonite Church, 2682 Long Road, Mifflintown. Interment will be in Lost Creek Mennonite Cemetery.

     There will be a viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Mission, PO Box 3041, Harrisburg PA 17105.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your loved one. Losing someone you love may seem unfair and I hope that you can find comfort in the words found in God’s word at John 5: 28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” Soon enough you will see the ones you love again and be filled with joy.
