Mildred L. "Millie" Potts, 68, of Marysville, formerly of Juniata County, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at Harrisburg Hospital.

Born July 10, 1950, in Old Port, she was a daughter of the late Kenneth and Mildred (Clay) Hosler.

She is survived by two children, Vince Potts of Marysville and Jamie Rodkey and companion, Ross Montoy, of Chambersburg, two grandchildren, Logan Freyermuth and Veronika Montoy, and three siblings, Charlie Hosler, Andy Hosler, and Emma Hosler.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Rhine, and two brothers, Kenneth Hosler and Clair "Clem"  Hosler.

She worked as a secretary at Empire Kosher.

Millie touched a lot of people, especially with her cooking skills. She volunteered for Juniata County Meals on Wheels for several years and helped Roberta "Bobbie" Miller with her catering. She helped with a church caramel project and also made caramels personally, experimenting with different ingredients, and gave them away. They were loved by many! She was a very kind and compassionate person who helped anyone in any way she was able.

Her memorial service will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 11, 2019, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, followed by a gathering at the Mifflintown Fire Hall to celebrate Millie's life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made toward the final expenses and sent to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059, who has care of the arrangements.

There are so few of the family ties left and without Millie there will be a big hole. I enjoyed her company at funerals and the few family get together. She will truly be missed. I'm sorry I won't make it to the memorial but my prayers and thoughts are with her family and friends.
