     Emma Delores (Baxter) Huff, 81,of Mifflintown, passed away Friday, July 27, 2018, at Hershey Medical Center.

     Born Aug. 30, 1936 in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late David E. and Mary Grace (Barlett) Baxter.

     She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Richard L. Huff, whom she married Dec. 24, 1957, one son, Richard Charles Huff, and three brothers, Andrew, David, and Robert Baxter.

     She is survived by three sons, Richard Huff, Jr. and wife, Connie, of Mifflintown, Robert Huff and wife, Fonda, of Mifflin, and Randy Huff and wife, Tammy, of Port Royal, ten grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

     At one time, she had worked at Juniata Garment, but then became a homemaker who loved taking care of her family.

     Emma was an avid Penn State fan. She enjoyed her flower garden, reading, and playing Texas Hold 'Em and hidden picture puzzles online. She loved her frequent trips to Hollywood Casino. When her husband was alive, she loved going fishing with him.

     Her funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Pastor Bobby Sieber officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.

     There will be a viewing on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.

A very special lady is going home today. She had touched so many people in her lifetime and will surely be missed. I know I will miss her smile, her laugh and her special hugs she always had for everyone in our family. Know now Miss Emmy you were and always will have a special place in our family's hearts. Love You Emmy!!
