     Michelle A. Whitesel, formerly known as Mark, 50, of Mifflintown, passed away Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at Hershey Medical Center.

     She was born Aug. 11, 1967 in Lewistown Hospital.

     She is survived by her mother, Joan "Sue" (Sheriff) Zeiders, her step-father, Gary Zeiders, one brother Eric Zeiders, one daughter, Tabitha Whitesel, one son, Preston Taylor, one uncle, Wayne Sheriff, two aunts, Connie Earnest and Sandy Harris, and a number of cousins.

     She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Whitesel, one sister, Crystal Whitesel, her maternal grandparents, Charles and Stella Sheriff, one uncle, Charlie Harris, and one aunt, Pat Peck.

     She was a carpenter and had worked at S&A Homes, Apex Homes, and Excel Homes.

     She was a life member of Mifflin Fire Co.

     Michelle enjoyed watching movies, was a Steelers football fan, pitching horseshoes, shooting pool, and played softball with the Tuscarora Softball League for 15 years. She especially enjoyed spending time with her cat, Tiger.

     Her memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2018, at 6 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, Mifflin, with Pastor Dan Kerlin, officiating.  A gathering time will follow the service at the church.

     In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 to help with the final expenses.

So sorry for your loss I was stunned to hear and worst of all on Christmas. The Sheriff family has had a very bad year and I wish everything is better in 2018. If any of you ever wish to talk you can call me at 321-759-2361 once again sorry for your loss.
