    Rev. Brenda K. Gill, 66, of Reeds Gap, ran through the pearly gates of Heaven on Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2017, at Hershey Medical Center with her family by her side.

     Born April 9, 1951, she was a daughter of the late James E. Gill, Sr., and Doris J. (Kauffman) Gill Haigh and was raised by her grandparents, the late Rev. Isaac N. and Frances M. Gill.

     She is survived by her daughter, Tammy L. Miller and husband, Scott, one grandson, Kohen Miller, three brothers, James Gill, Jr. and wife, Ruthann, Dennis Gill and wife, Bonnie,  and Jeffrey Gill, one sister, Mindy Druckemiller and husband, Brian, her step-mother, Melva Barnes, one step-brother, Dave Bottorff, one step-sister, Lori Bryner, and many cousins, nieces, nephews and their families.

     She was preceded in death by a niece, Susan Stitely, two great-nieces, Megan and Brooke Stitely, and her aunt, Margaret Zook.

     Brenda served the Lord through her ministry of playing her guitar and singing and as pastor of Mexico Full Gospel Church for many years.

     She attended A New Beginning Church, Port Royal.

     She enjoyed visiting people and loved spending time with her family. Her greatest joy was being MeMe to Kohen.

     There will be a visitation from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, with the funeral service at 11 at A New Beginning Church with Pastor Frank Swartz, Pastor Judy Rowles, and Pastor Debbie Wright, officiating. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, Mifflintown.

     Donations in Brenda's memory may be made to A New Beginning Church, 2118 Spruce Hill Road, Port Royal, PA 17082.

     Arrangements are in the care of Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown. Condolences may be left at www.gussfh.com.

So sorry to hear of Brenda's passing, yet rejoicing that she is now with Jesus. Although I have not seen her for years, I remember her with fondness from my early teenage years. God bless.
