     Robert M. Bracken, 68, of Thompsontown, died Sunday, May 7, 2017.

     He is survived by his wife, Dedie A. Bracken, one daughter, Jennifer Owens Peters, one son, Matthew Bracken, and five grandchildren.

     He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Bracken.

     He was a former police officer in Cecil Co., Maryland, and in Philadelphia and worked at Sight and Sound Ministries in Lancaster.

     He was a member of American Cruizers Car Club and restored vintage cars. He also enjoyed woodworking, and donating to charity. He played guitar and loved older country music, especially blue grass.

     His memorial service and interment were held at the convenience of the family.

A sweet, funny gentle soul was Robert "Bob" Bracken. I will miss you terribly. You touched SO many lives over your time on this earth, making a difference in all. Warm and kind man, I will grieve for you until the day I die. Be at peace now and walk with Jesus.
