     Brady E. Lyter, 75, of Mifflintown, formerly of Mifflin, passed away Monday, Dec. 12, 2016, at Ohesson Manor, Lewistown.

     He was born March 29, 1941, in Mifflintown.

     He was a loving brother and a devoted uncle and is survived by his sister, Eldora Swailes and husband, Anthony, of Lewistown, nieces and nephews, Judy Hurrell, Timothy Swailes and wife, Melett, Freddy Hurrell, James Swailes and wife, Suzie, and Kimmy Jo Swailes, great-nieces and great-nephews, Tracy Lauver and companion, Butch Truitt, Tammy Lauver, Jon Lyter and wife, Linda, Mandy McCleester and husband, Ron, Shelby Swailes, and Lyndzie Swailes, great-great-nieces, Daisy Lyter and Lexi Truitt, and great-great-nephew, Cash McCleester.

     He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin J. and Joyce M. (Swartz) Lyter, one brother, Paul L. Lyter, and one sister, Roxie Hurrell.

     Brady worked in various sewing factories in the area and most recently worked at the Weis Store in Mifflintown.

     He enjoyed walking and doing his fill-in puzzle books, and especially spending time with his family.

     Although there will be no viewing, there will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, Dec. 18, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc. The cremation and interment in Adams Cemetery will be private.

     The family will provide all the flowers and kindly requests that contributions be made to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059.
