     Warren C. "Butch" Walton, 72, of Locust Run, died Tuesday, November 8, 2016, at his home.

     Born Nov. 29, 1943, in Lewistown, he was a son of the late Chester and Minnie (Swailes) Walton.

     He is survived by his wife, Eileen (Bender) Walton, whom he married Feb. 27, 1971, two sons, Scott Walton and Travis Walton, one granddaughter, Brooke Walton, and eight siblings, Gerald Walton and wife, Kathy, Betty King and husband, Ike, Charles Walton and wife, Pat, Jack Walton and wife, Dale, John Walton and wife, Mary, Linda Borger and husband, Richard, Robert Walton and wife, Brenda, and Ruth Anderson and husband, Eric, and several generations of nieces and nephews.

     He was preceded in death by one half-brother, Paul Walton and his grandmother, Sadie Swailes.

     Butch worked various places, the last being at Treen Pallet.

     He enjoyed working with animals and especially spending time with family and friends.

     There will be a graveside service and interment at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11, at Union Cemetery, Mifflintown, with Saint Prye, officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, those who desire may send contributions to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, PA 17059, who has care of the arrangements.
