     Julia A. "Julie" Dressler, 63, of Mifflintown, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 2, 2016, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center.

     Born April 10, 1952, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Max and Lucille (Meals) Fry.

     She is survived by her husband, Bruce S. Dressler, whom she married March 10, 1997; two sons, Steve Schlegel and fiancée, Marla Rowles, of Lewistown and Andy Schlegel and partner, Erica Hein, of Palm Coast, Fla.; two stepchildren, Susan Winblood and husband, Marty, of Steelton and Michael Dressler and wife, Tracy, of Northumberland; four siblings, James V. Fry of Millersburg, Curt Fry of Thompsontown, Cassandra M. Sweitzer and fiancé, Ralph "Buff" Saner, of Thompsontown, and Marilyn Lauver and husband, Bryan "Jake," of Millerstown; six grandchildren, Jessica, Seth, Cole, Mia, Jaden and Alexa Schlegel; three step-grandchildren, Shanoa, Alicia, and Michael Dressler; one expected great-grandchild; five nieces and four nephews.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one niece, Angel Rose Lauver, and one sister-in-law, Brenda J. Fry.

     She worked as a waitress and then as a clerk at PHEAA.

     Julie loved to spend time with her family and she enjoyed cooking and baking. She also worked with ceramics and loved the beach.

     Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, April 7, at Bunkertown Church of the Brethren, 52 Bunkertown Road, McAlisterville, with Pastor Mike Baumgardner officiating. Interment will be in Goodwill Cemetery, Bunkertown.

     There will be a viewing on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the time of the services at the church.

     In lieu of flowers, those who desire may make memorial contributions to Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059.

The church is located approximately 3 miles north of McAlisterville, just off route 35.

I was so sorry to hear about Julie's passing. I will always remember Julie's caring nature and beautiful smile.
