     Minnie Arlene Leonard, 85, of Center, died Monday, February 9, 2015, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.

     Born Sept. 7, 1929 in Center, she was a daughter of the late Thomas P. and Grace M. (Gill) Leonard.

     She is survived by one sister, M. Maxine Swartz of Waterford, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.

     She was preceded in death by three brothers, Elmer N. Leonard, Lewis A. Leonard, and Thomas Weimer.

     Minnie worked at Empire Kosher and retired from the East Salem Sewing Factory.

     She was a member of Cedar Grove Brethren In Christ Church.

     She enjoyed word searches, jigsaw puzzles, cats and was an avid collector of McDonald's toys which she passed on to others.  She especially enjoyed visiting with her family and friends.

     Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 12,  at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Ken Hepner officiating.  Interment will be in Adams Cemetery.

     There will be a viewing from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
