Donald P. DeLauter, 78, formerly of Port Royal, died Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at Rolling Hills, Millmont.
Born June 10, 1936, in Mifflintown, he was the only child of the late Rev. Dr. Paul W. and Mary Grace (O'Hara) DeLauter.
He is survived by his wife, Thelma Arlene (Walters) DeLauter, whom he married Aug. 9, 1974; three children, Kirk Lauver, Kris Lauver, and Lisa Lauver and companion, Scott Russell; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was an accountant for Juniata Concrete and retired from the Washington Co. Public School, Hagerstown, MD.
He enjoyed reading, especially his Bible, and was passionate about photography.
His funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Chris Mathiason officiating. Interment will be in St. Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery.
There will be a viewing from 10 a.m. until the time of the services Tuesday at the funeral home.
