Vickie A. Bryner, 60, of Port Royal (Walnut), died Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

     Born January 13, 1954, in Lewistown, she was a daughter of the late Chester D. and Sara A. (Nealman) Zimmerman.

     She is survived by her husband, Donald E. "Tom" Bryner, whom she married Feb. 28, 1975; two sons, T.J. Bryner and wife, Bobbie, of Port Royal and Jeremiah D. Bryner of Mifflintown; six grandchildren, Patrick, Ethan, Teresa, Elizabeth, Tyler, and Nathanial; and five siblings, Richard R. "Dick" Zimmerman and wife, Linda, and Fred R. Zimmerman, and wife, Linda, all of Mifflintown, Ted J. Zimmerman of Mifflin, Larry H. Zimmerman and wife, Evie, and Darlene "Sis" Long and husband, Larry, all of Port Royal.

     She was preceded in death by seven siblings, David C. Zimmerman, Kenneth E. Zimmerman, Jerry G. Zimmerman, Ferry Zimmerman, Warren C. "Butch" Zimmerman, Edward A. Zimmerman, and Brenda Brookhart.

     Vickie graduated from Juniata High School in 1972 and last worked as an aide for Skills of Central Pennsylvania.

     She enjoyed needlepoint and embroidery, but the most important thing to her was spending time with her family.

     Per her request, a graveside service and interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 14, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Cemetery, Licking Creek Valley, with Rev. Chris Mathiason officiating. There will be no viewing.
