     Eva L. "Bink" Irvin, 59, of Thompsontown, passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Brookline Manor, Mifflintown.

     Born Feb. 25, 1955 in Thompsontown, she was a daughter of the late Earl E. and Virginia M. (Keister) Zeigler.

     She is survived by her husband, Dennis R. Irvin, whom she married July 2, 1988; one daughter, Stephanie L. Elsasser and husband, Nathan, of McAlisterville; two step-children, Dawn Barr of Pleasant Gap and Christopher Irvin of Newport; two brothers, Earl W. Zeigler and wife, Teresa, of Port Royal, and Wilson E. Zeigler and wife, Barbara, of Millerstown; two grandchildren, Chloe Elsasser and Joseph Elsasser; and three step-grandchildren, Cameron Barr, Brooke Barr, and Bailey Irvin.

     She was preceded in death by one sister, Connie Wileman.

     Eva was a clerk typist and a homemaker.  She attended Thompsontown Baptist Church and was a member of Millerstown Moose.

     She enjoyed shopping and traveling, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren.

     Her funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 22, at Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, with Rev. Dr. Pusey Losch, officiating.  Interment will be in Locust Run Cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
