Tambra Jo "Tammy" Pines Walton, 40, of Lewistown, passed away on Monday, Sept. 8, 2014, at the Bridges at Brookline, Mifflintown.

Born Feb. 12, 1974, in Lewistown, she is a daughter of Cloyd A. "Butch" and Sandra (Wieseman) Pines of Mifflintown.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, William A. "Willie" Walton, whom she married on May 6, 2006; one son, Braedon John Walton; one sister, Michelle Stoner and her husband, Daniel, of Port Royal; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Tammy graduated from Juniata High School in 1992 and is a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

She worked at the snack bar at The Roller Junction, as a waitress at Stop 35, and, most recently, at WalMart.

Tammy enjoyed traveling and spending time with her friends, but what she loved the most was being with her family, being a good mother to her son, and being with her extended family at picnics and family gatherings.

Her funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third Street, Mifflintown, with the Rev. William Esborn and the Rev. Terry Smith officiating.  Interment will be in Union Memorial Gardens, Mifflintown.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Mifflintown, and on Saturday from 9:30 until the time of the services at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Byron King Fund--Messiah Lutheran Church, 3 S. Third St., Mifflintown, PA 17059 to benefit children in Juniata County.

Guss Funeral Home, Inc., 20 S. Third St., Mifflintown, has care of the arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.gussfh.com.

Butch, Sandy, Tammy, Willie and Braedon.........my thoughts and prayers are with you through this difficult time as they have been over the past two years. Nothing will take away the pain of such suffering on so many levels, only knowing that you will be with her again someday. God bless each one of you through this difficult time.
