Mary Jo and Sarah,

Our deepest condolences to you and the rest of Tom's loved ones. We will miss his compassion, kindness and sense of humour and we' will always treasure our time with him and you at our cottage. We never could have finished the deck without Tom's incredible skill and work ethic.

Mary Jo,
I wish to express my sympathy to you. Having lost someone very dear to me to cancer I can truly say I understand your pain. There is something that gives me great comfort and that is the wonderful hope held out in the Bible.
Acts 24:15 says "there is going to be a resurrection". Yes, Jehovah God hates death and views it as an enemy for 1 Corinthians 15:26 says "and the last enemy death, is to be brought to nothing". My favorite scripture of all is found at Revelation 21:4 where it says "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be any more. The former things have passed away". Imagine a time when there isn't anything to make us cry, no one to mourn over and no painful ailments of any kind, and most of all no one will die for "death will be no more".
I hope that I have brought you at least a measure of comfort. You may wonder why we die in the first place or why do we suffer? For online answers feel free to visit the website at or feel free to write back to me.
