Mrs. Rodriquez and children,
I want to express my sympathy to you because of the loss of your husband and dad. Having lost someone very dear to me, my dad, to cancer I can say that I truly understand your pain at this time. There is something that has given me hope and comfort and I want to share it with you. It is the wonderful hope held out in the Bible.
The Bible says at Acts 24:15 that "there is going to be a resurrection". Jehovah God hates death and views it as an enemy. 1 Corinthians 15:26 says "and the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing".
My favorite scripture of all is to be fulfilled in the very near future. It is found at Revelation 21:4. There it says "and he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". Imagine a time when there is not anything to make us cry, no mourning a loved ones loss, and no painful ailments of any kind, and most of all no one will die for "death will be no more". What kind of conditions will exist on the earth at that time? Why does man continue to suffer and why do we die in the first place? These and more answers to your Bible questions can be found online at the website JW.org. There are videos for children and teenagers to watch as well. You can also listen to the Bible being read. or feel free to email me and discuss what ever questions you may have.
Sincerely, Mrs. Pauline Booher
