I wish to extend my heartfelt condolences to Marie's daughter Trish. Dear Trish, I have so many fond memories of your Mother. I thoroughly enjoyed having Marie as a Volunteer in the Nightingale Gift Shop. For a very long time she faithfully volunteered every Tuesday morning and I always looked forward to seeing her. She was a delight to work with and we never had difficulty finding a topic to discuss and we shared a lot of laughter! Trish, she spoke so fondly of you and I was so happy to have meant you. You were a lioness during your mother's illness which is a real testament of your love for her. I understand the void, the emptiness and the depth of pain from your loss. My brothers and I buried our Mother 13 months ago and there's not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. I cared for her during the last two years of her life and I'm comforted by the time we spent together and for the opportunity to have given back for all the years she had cared for me. I hope you will be comforted with many fond memories and the knowledge that you were her angel during her most difficult times. I will continue to treasure the friendship I shared with Marie and for the many memories of the time we spent working together. Marie was a beautiful and interesting woman with a big heart. May the Peace of the Lord be with you Trish! I'll close with the last words she faithfully said to me following her good-bye rather in person or on the telephone, "God Bless"! Fondly, Debra Conklin
