From the time I was a young lad which is many years ago, the Guss Funeral Home has been there for a Dressler who had passed away. Carl and Eddie always were there for the families and friends of the deceased, and Barbara continues to carry on that tradition. Our deepest sympathy goes out to the family of Eddie at this time. RIP my friend.

As the true son of a funeral director, the first thing I checked this morning on-line was the obits page in The Sentinel and read the sad news of Eddie's passing. Please accept the sincere condolences of the Baggus family in this very difficult time. We will certainly keep you in our thoughts and prayers and especially our memories of Dad's and Eddie's camaraderie over all those years. Many of my personal memories are of just before leaving our house for family vacations, there was that "final call" to Guss Funeral Home, alerting that Dad was about to take off for a well deserved vacation and his feeling that was leaving his business in wonderful, trusted hands. May the teachings of this Holy Week wrap you all in the wonderful promise that in one day to come, we will all once again unite together. Again with Sympathy, Darrell Baggus, Ruth Ann and Cheryl Jeschke and famlies.

Sorry to hear about Eddie's death; we knew he was sick. He was always an inspiration to me when he drove my school bus and wherever I would see him, especially at Lodge. I know he will be missed. Don and Cathy Bashore, Dunnellon, Florida. P.S. We won' t be home in time for the viewing.

I am so sorry to hear of Eddie's passing. He and our parents went way back to childhood and Guss Funeral Home has been our family's choice for many years because of the dedication, friendliness and family oriented service we got before, during and after a loss. When our dad died in April 1980 he went beyond what was expected of him as did your family with our mom in November 2008. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers. Heaven received another Angel. Hugs to you all and may God guide you through this with love, strength, peace and closure. I am sorry I can't be there in person but I will be in mind and heart. Sending our love.....Ruth, Eric, Ashley, John, Dalton, Tammy, Gabriella, Mason and Todd.
